- Except for the roller type, non-slip brakes must brake at a maximum of 0.80 m/s.
- Roller type non-slip brakes must brake at a maximum of 1.00 m/s.
- Slide brakes with a nominal speed of 1.00 m/s should brake at a maximum of 1.50 m/s.
- For sliding brakes with a nominal speed of 1.00m/s, the braking speed should be determined with the formula of max 1.25*v + (0.25 / v).
