COMPENSATION CHAIN
The balance chain must be used in all elevators operating with counterweights that exceed 25 meters travel distance. Thanks to its use, the dynamic load resulting from the weight of the ropes will be balanced during navigation. It is silent thanks to its rubber coating, making it suitable for use with a correctly selected balance chain pulley in elevators with cabin speeds up to 3.50 m/s. During use, it must be connected to the stop circuit with a safety switch.
